Favorite Natural Lip Balms (Reviews!)

i used to be into lots of different lip balms when i was younger. ie: chapsticks, lip smackers, blistex, carmex, nivea. all of which claim to be so helpful and the perfect hydrator, blah blah blah. well, through trial and error and common sesnse, i've come up with three of my favorites that are all natural, and all fantastic :)

-Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm
-EOS (evolution of smooth) Lip Balm in Honeydew
-Lush's Honey Trap Lip Balm

The Burt's Bees one is such a great lip balm. it has very traditional packaging which makes it so easy to throw into a bag, or a pocket without worrying about it. I loved this lip balm during the summer months. though it's a great lip balm for the entire year. it doesn't say that it's tinted, but it has a slight pomegranate tint to it. it was such a perfect lip balm for those carefree summer days. my lips naturally have a darker purplish tint to it at times, and when it's dry, it has a sort of ashy purple/grey color to it... i'm weird. and this lip balm gave me a perfect natural flushed lip look. also, it's 100% natural!

the EOS lip balm is organic, and has some funky packaging. which makes it really fun to apply while riding the bus ;) this lip balm is SO AMAZING. it's quick to apply because it's shape, it's ultra moisturizing for the day and the night, has no tint to it (if that's what you're looking for) and smells so yummy!! (and tastes yummy too.. hehe). overall, this product is BOMB, yes BOMB. you can't go wrong!

finally, Lush's honey trap lip balm. i'm originally from hawaii, and never really had super duper dry cold lips.. ever. so when i went to seattle last year in november, not only was i constantly shivering, but my lips were dry and cold and i hated it. so i ran into lush at the mall, went up to their lip balms, and this one smelled the best. turns out, this product rocks my socks! it's so moisturizing, more than eos and burt's bees, and it smells great. i would apply this before bed, and when i woke up my lips were still plump and moisturized! awesome! the packaging makes it kinda hard to quickly apply, but that's ok with me, it's totally worth it, even for it's price. this will definitely save you during the winter.

~~hope this is helpful!
